Ch. Annacott Briony, known as Brie, finished her championship in great style with multiple Best of Breeds and and a group placement. She is a very busy little dog so keeps me on my toes. Brie has spent the last few years with her favorite person, Ron Wickwire. Ron and Joan love this little girl. She is a princess in their hearts and home.
Briony has passed away and is greatly missed by Joan and Ron. Briony was a great "alert" dog for Ron and really helped him out during her last few years.

"Krista" was a lovely outgoing little dog. She was 9 1/2" of "personality plus".
She enjoyed her retirement with her owner Karen in the southern States. "Krista" was always getting herself into tricky situations such as the time Karen on arriving home saw "Krista" on the roof. She had escaped onto the roof via an open bedroom window. She was a wonderful companion.

"Callie" was a lovely 91/4" red sable and white who loved to show off. She and her litter sister ( Annacott Little Shelby) were favorites at Spruce Meadows, a large equestrian facility, where they spent a lot of their time visiting and running around on the lovely grounds while Sheika was riding her horse. She was a marvelous dog and I got Callie and Shelby for the occassional holiday.

"Lucas" was a lovely phalène and made the final cut for Best of Breed at the U.S. National in 2000. He has proven himself as a sire as her sired Ch. Annacott Brittany and Ch. Annacott Bailey, two very nice phalenes that both won well at the U.S. National. Lucas spent his retirement years with Carol Wolf.

"Lucky" was a lovely tri-colour dog. He had lots of attitude - in fact, too much for the show ring. Thankfully he finished very quickly and "en route" to his championship was Best of Winners at the papillon booster in Saskatoon in April 1994.

"Calexa" was a lovely dainty and sound little dog. It was interesting showing her in Canada as one week-end at a show she was measured as the judge thought she was under 8" (this was done at a Papillon booster and most of the other dogs were at least 11") and the following week-end she won a group placement!! She is 9 1/4"!! She is a super little dog and was Norma's constant companion. Calexa lived the last of her years as a loving companion to Ron and Joan.

"Ceilidh" was my introduction to Annacott phalènes. I had seen phalènes quite a few times over the years but it was Ceilidh who made me fall "in love" with them. Ceilidh is such a wonderful dog - there is just not enough words in the English language to describe her effect on our family (but I will try)- she is loyal, devoted, smart, an excellent hunter and a "mother" par excellence. She not only looked after all her own puppies but continues to look after every single puppy that is either born here or comes to visit. She is my shadow. She looks after the whole family and takes that duty quite seriously. Ceilidh is now gone but not from my heart. She decided at 17 1/2 that it was time to leave us and she went peacefully. Such a girl - a true once in a lifetime dog.

"Smokey" was a fabulous dog - we miss him so much. He entered the show ring and within his first few shows was challenging for Best Puppy in Show. He finished his championship so quickly that he came home for a few months before returning to the show ring in 1990 and ended up being #1 papillon in Canada for that year. He also made a trip to the U.S. National in 1989 and was 2nd in a very large class. He had very unusual colouring, being a wolf sable, and this was at times held against him by certain judges. Smokey was a real character and sometimes was entered in the veteran class where he had some fun. He has sired many champions - at last count about 15!! Also, so many of his grand-kids and great- grand kids are champions that I can't keep count. He loved everyone but especially children.

Tamsin was Louann's first show dog and she certainly went into the ring and showed the pros how it is done. Tamsin went down to the U.S. National and Michelle Billings pulled her out in consideration for Winners Bitch. Of course, from the Novice class - it just can't be done but it was a nail biting time for me as the judge had Tamsin walked out quite a few times. Tamsin was very lovely and had the typical papillon look - so elegant.
