Cocoa is a lot of fun to show. She has done extremely well. Her first outing was at the U.S. National where she stood 2nd in a class of 22 in the sweepstakes, then she won the Phalene Match and stood 3rd in the open drop ear class - not bad for a 6 month old puppy.
Her next outing was in Edmonton where she took two best Puppy in Groups and a Best Puppy in Show. Then off to the Canadian National Specialty where she was WB to finish her title.
Next came her Grand Championship which she completed in less than 3 week-ends at the shows and along the way picking up another 2 Best Puppy in Groups, a Group 2nd and a Group 3rd!! All this achieved by 11 months old. Pretty good going for a little phalene!!!
Cocoa went to the U.S. National in 2015 and won Select Bitch. What an accomplishment. Both Louann and I were over the moon. What a great way to complete a show career!!

Xia is a very typey little tri-female. She is already half way towards her title and she achieved that before she was 6 months and 1 week old!! Xia and I re-entered the ring on our return to Canada and she finished her title by going WB,BOW and BOW at her last three shows. I am looking forward to some nice puppies from this little girl in the future. She has coated up real nicely with good fringes and a very pretty head-piece!!

Sadie is such a sweet dog. Andrea Meloon and Cheryl Maass leased Ch. Annacott Harmony By Alines and she gave them 6 puppies. Sadie was my pick from that litter and she is everything I want in a dog. She started off by going Best phalene at the U.S. National while still a puppy. She did have a couple of hiccups on her way to her Canadian title as a couple of judges just would not put up a drop ear and the biggest surprise to me (now after over 40 years in the show ring - you would think there would be no surprises left) was they openly stated it. However, the judges who finished her points were very complimentary and she made the cut in the group. I just love this little dog and is my last puppy from Harmony - a dog in a million!!

Anya was a little terror when she appeared into this world. Her first 15 minutes of life were lived in protest as she could not get to the milk barrels as Harmony was busy producing number 2. My husband, Dave, was terrified that she was going to continue in this fashion for the rest of her life - but thankfully once she was attached to Harmony there was peace in the house. Anya still has this attitude. Everyone who meets the pups can't take their eyes off her - she has that "something" about her.
Anya has entered the show ring and look-out as here she comes. In her three outings she has won 3 Best Baby Puppy in Groups and a Best Baby Puppy in Show!! Thank you to all the judges for their very kind comments about this little star.

Ari completed his championship in great style with a BOB and then flying around the ring to go Best Bred By in Show over some of the top dogs in Canada. He managed to keep us with these big dogs with his smooth gait, great reach and drive and never looked like he put a foot out of place!!
Ari, now known as Dez, is with Donna Seiben and this is what she says about the little fellow-
"We love our Dez. He is the most amazing little dog. Beside havig earned titles in rally and obedience, he has earned ribbons in agility and barn hunt. His real super power is a therapy dog. He has his St John's Ambulance Therapy dog certification and loves brightening the days of patients in senior homes and the hospital. He also comes to work with me 2 days a week to our school library where he listens to students read and offers his calm demeanor to those who need it"

Casey is a wonderful little girl. She has absolutely beautiful phalene ear set and is maturing out quite nicely. We hope to have her in some shows this year and it will be fun to see how we all get on!!
Casey has ventured in the ring a few times in 2017 and has a Group 2nd and a Group 3rd award.
Well, we did have fun at the dog shows. We have been out 2 week-ends so far. At the first show Sadie, Ch. Annacott Andali Such A Surprise, finished her title. Casey and Chelsea were introduced to the show ring and Casey picked up her first 2 point win. The next week-end at the dog shows - Casey finished with Style by going Best Puppy in Group, in a very strong puppy group under breeder/judge Olga Gagne. She was just over 9 months old. What a trooper of a puppy. She showed her little heart out.

Faith is from a litter of three phalene girls. She will be shown next year. She has twice been in the ring - once last year and once this year(2013) at the National Specialty and both judges commented on how nice she is - one judge giving her reserve. We are waiting until she matures a bit before going after her title. She is a very loving girl and I am sure that once she is ready for the ring it won't take her long to get her title. She has the most fabulous ear set - absolutely correct.
Faith completed her title in great style and is on to motherhood. She has just raised a litter of 5 puppies sired by Am Ch. Akais Joy To The World. one of these puppies, Annacott Animato Catch U Later, picked up a 2 point win her firs week-end out at the dog shows.

Harmony is a wonderful little dog. She came, she saw, she conquered is how it feels when she came into my life when she was a few months old. It seems the judges must have felt the same way as after a couple of week-ends she had gained the points necessary for her title. What a bombastic girl - she feels life owes her a great deal and she is enjoying taking it.

Rumour is a very petite little girl and we waited until she was over a year old before deciding to show her. However, when she did go to the shows she decided to gain her title in style. She went BOW at the Specialty in Edmonton under breeder judge Grant Townshend. She followed this by finishing her title by going Best of Breed over the Specials and on to a Group 3rd. Quite a feat for such a small girl. The judge, Dr. Lee Reasin stated she was so nicely put together and not too long like so many in the ring these days. Quite a compliment. Thank you.

Society is a very pretty, sound little girl. She won her first points, a three point Best of Winners, at the Alberta Kennle Club show when she was 6 months old. She finished her title before she was 7 months old by going Best of Winners the first two days at Saskatoon for 2 - 4 points wins. The judges were Guy Jeavons and Bill Taylor. Thank you to the judges and other admirers of this little dog for their very kind comments.
Society went down to the States in April 2009 and her first week-end out she won her first 4 point major. A month later she had obtained her U.S. championship. She managed to win 3 - 4 point majors on the way to her title.These wins were mainly in region 8 - the toughest region taking well over 20 female for these 4 point wins. She is a very special little girl.
We bred Society's mother , Ch. Alines Patreese By Annacott, a very nice line breeding for the purpose of breeding on. Patci's first three puppies, Society, Show Stopper and Steal the Show are living up to their early promise.

Christie was a bit unexpected but there she was and I decided to show her. She was just over 9" and quite fun to show. She finished her title under breeder/judge Michael Hill. She is now in a home with another papillon and both of them are ruling the house!!

Her name means a star and that is what she is. Her mother aborted the litter because of a dead puppy in utero and this little one appeared from that litter. Two weeks premature, what a horrendous start to life. It was a major battle for survival, a battle that lasted 5 1/2 weeks. Many days I thought she was going to die and then back she came again. I have had many fights over the course of 30 plus years of breeding and I don't like to lose those battles. My vet will attest to that as he tells everyone to talk to me if they have weak puppies. Vega and I spent a lot of time together and I must say - she is worth it. She may never grow big enough for the show ring but she has the biggest heart, will for life and true gutsy feistiness that I have ever seen. She is also one of the smartest pups I have ever had. She is an easy puppy to live with as she is very good at entertaining herself and has made up many games that she plays. She also loves all the other dogs and gets right in there with them. Her poor mother, Keeley, has a major job on her hands keeping her safe as Vega bowls along at top speed among a herd of much bigger dogs. She really is a special puppy and is a reminder of what is really important in the dog game - not the wins - the absolute love and devotion that these little dogs bring with their very presence in our lives. Vega certainly makes me a better person.

Whimsy is a fun dog to show. She was born with a mind of her own and this has proven to be a challenge in the show ring. She lives life on her own terms. She started of her show career in Canada with a bang and after only a few week-ends in the ring had 7 points. She re-entered the ring on my return to Canada and finished her title requirements very quickly. Along the way she won Best Bred By in Group twice.

Casper is a lovely young dog who came to stay with me in the Spring of 2009. He attended the U.S. National Specialty where he made the cut in all his classes. He then stood second at the Canadian National. His next trip was to Seattle to compete at the Specialty where he had a fabulous week-end and finished up by going Best in Sweepstakes. He then took 6 points by going BOW at all days at his next outings. Casper finished his title in his next outing. I really enjoyed showing this little fellow - he epitomizes breed type - fine-boned, dainty and elegant and he moves!!

Louann and I were very fortunate when we were able to purchase Am. Ch. Marimar's Willow(Cindy) from her breeder Mary Maher. What a nice girl with a lovely calm disposition. So far she has provided us with 4 lovely female puppies including Cocoa (Ch. Animato Annacott Devinechoklat) our latest Best Puppy in Show winner. What an achievement for a phalene puppy. Cindy was my re-introduction to the phalene world. She is sired by my Cos (Ch. Apsara's Cossack Dancer).
